Are you a highly motivated, driven student seeking to explore careers in health equity, disparities, and population health? The Myrlie Evers-Williams Institute invites you to apply for our transformative Interdisciplinary Student Internship Program.

This immersive experience offers the unique opportunity to work alongside health care providers, researchers, and professionals, enhancing your awareness, skills, and real-world experience in areas critical to improving patient outcomes and the overall health of underserved communities.

"MEWI's Interdisciplinary Internship Program is designed to empower the next generation of health equity champions," says Dr. Juanyce Taylor, the program's director. "By providing hands-on learning and mentorship, we're equipping students with the tools they need to make a lasting impact."

Interns can expect to participate in a wide range of activities, from conducting community-based research to supporting innovative patient-centered initiatives. And the best part? Qualified students may even receive a stipend to cover allowable expenses.

To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years of age, enrolled at least half-time in an accredited college or university, and in good academic standing. The application process is competitive, so be sure to submit your materials by the upcoming deadlines:
